Due to current demand "how can we create / manage "Home Office" in SaaS.de". Here are a few instructions.

In the administration under Reasons for absence, you can manage your reasons for absence such as holiday, illness, etc..

To create a reason, proceed as follows:

  1. click on the plus in the top left-hand corner
  2. as name e.g.: HomeOffice
  3. Set the minimum lead time to none (this allows employees to request HomeOffice even for the current day).
  4. Deactivate the setting "Data protection: Suppress name in calendars" if you want colleagues in a department to be able to see whether the colleague is working in the home office.
  5. Substitution can be deactivated, as the employee is not really absent.

Create HomeOffice

You can now enter HomeOffice in the annual or monthly calendar for the relevant employees.
