The kilometre allowance for business trips will remain unchanged at €0.30 per kilometre in 2026 and only applies to journeys in connection with business trips.

There is often confusion between the kilometre allowance and the commuter allowance. The latter has been increased to €0.38 per kilometre, but only applies to the daily commute.

The debate about data sovereignty and the influence of US authorities on European data is becoming increasingly urgent.
