Security first: SaaS.de introduces two-factor authentication (2FA)

In an increasingly digitalised world where data is a precious commodity, security is paramount. At SaaS.de, we understand that protecting your sensitive information is a top priority. That's why we've further enhanced our security standards and now offer two-factor authentication (2FA) - an additional layer of security for accessing your SaaS.de account.

What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication is a method that goes beyond the traditional login process. Whereas previously you only needed a password, 2FA also requires a second authentication factor. This second factor can take the form of a one-time code via an app (such as Google Authenticator).

The combination of "something you know" (your password) and "something you have" (a mobile phone or token) significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access. Even if your password is compromised, your account remains protected by the second factor.

Why is 2FA important?

Cyber threats are constantly evolving, and traditional passwords are often no longer enough to prevent complex attacks. 2FA provides an additional security barrier that is difficult for hackers to overcome. This keeps access to your HR data, time records and project data protected.

Advantages of the new security function at SaaS.de:

  • protection of your data: 2FA ensures that only authorised users gain access to your account, even if your password falls into the wrong hands.
