The modern API v2 interface has been available for our terminals since 2019. It offers more stability, greater security and is the basis for future functions relating to time recording, bookings and employee management. To ensure a smooth transition period for our customers, the previous API v1 remained active - but this transition phase will end soon.
What is changing?
The old API v1 will be switched off from January 2026. We will announce the exact date in good time and inform all customers separately before the deactivation.
In concrete terms, this means

Older terminal apps (released before 2020) that still communicate via API v1 will no longer work after this date

New devices and current terminal apps are already fully compatible with API v2
What you should do now
To ensure that your terminals continue to function smoothly, we recommend checking the systems in good time and updating them if necessary.
1. update the terminal app
Open the terminal app on your Android or iOS device and make sure that the latest version is installed.

If your current device no longer supports app updates, you can also start the terminal directly in the browser:

If you are still using very old hardware, we recommend requesting an up-to-date terminal from our sales department.

Why this change is necessary
