We are pleased to present a major update to our user interface. Over the last few months, we have been working intensively on taking the entire front end of SaaS.de - your tool for time recording, holiday management and HR processes - to the next level, both technically and visually.
The focus was not only on a fresh layout, but above all on a modern technical basis:
👉 We have updated our frontend from Angular + PrimeNG 17 to Angular + PrimeNG 20.
What's new?

Better performance & shorter loading times
The new interface is significantly faster and more responsive - from login to booking screen. -
Individual colour schemes
You can choose between various new colour schemes in the user settings - to suit your taste. -
Improved dark mode
The dark mode has been completely revised and is now more consistent, richer in contrast and more pleasant for the eyes - especially when used for longer periods of time. -
Optimised button layouts in top bar & action bar
Buttons and actions are now more clearly structured and better organised. This improves orientation and speeds up frequent work processes.
Canary Release - step-by-step introduction
The rollout will initially take place as a "Canary Release":
- From the next update, the new UI will be available to you as a beta version via the user menu.
- The previous interface will initially remain active by default.
- However, you can switch manually at any time to try out the new UI.
How to switch to the new design:

- October / November: gradual expansion of the Canary rollout
- End of October / November: Shutdown of the old interface and complete switchover to the new UI
We recommend switching over now and testing the new version. This will allow you to familiarise yourself with the new look and feel at an early stage and give us feedback.
