We are delighted to present a major update to our user interface. Over the past few months, we have been working intensively to take the entire front end of SaaS.de – your tool for timesheets, holiday management and HR processes – to the next level, both technically and visually.

The focus was not only on a fresh layout, but above all on a modern technical foundation:
👉 We have updated our front end from Angular + PrimeNG 17 to Angular + PrimeNG 20.

What’s new?

  • Better performance & shorter loading times
The new interface is significantly faster and more responsive – from the login screen right through to the booking form.

  • Custom colour schemes
In your user settings, you can choose between various new colour schemes – to suit your taste.

  • Improved dark mode
Dark Mode has been completely revamped and is now more consistent, offers greater contrast and is easier on the eyes – particularly during prolonged use.

  • Optimised button layouts in the top bar and action bar
Buttons and actions are now more clearly structured and arranged in a more logical way. This improves navigation and speeds up common workflows.

Canary Release – Phased Roll-out

The rollout will initially take place as a ‘Canary Release’:

  • From the next update onwards, the new UI will be available as a beta version via the user menu.
  • By default, the previous interface will remain active for the time being.
  • However, you can switch manually at any time to try out the new UI.

Here’s how to switch to the new design:

Rollout plan

  • October / November: gradual expansion of the Canary rollout
  • End of October / November: The old interface will be phased out and the switch to the new UI will be complete

We recommend switching over now and testing the new version. This will allow you to familiarise yourself with the new look and feel at an early stage and provide us with feedback.

Your feedback matters
What do you think of the new SaaS.de interface? Please feel free to send us your feedback – this will help us fine-tune the system before the final rollout takes place.
